Learn your history. The separation of Church and State was designed not to keep morals from clouding the state, but to keep the state from sponsoring and forcing participation of one church. It was not to say that you cannot pray in school, or that you cannot use your morals that are based on a religious belief to guide your actions if you are in a position of power, but to protect and provide freedom of worship.
While it is nice and all that you can be Gay, the founders of this country that you wish to say should be thought of when we have these talks about separation of church and state also passed laws in their states making sodomy illegal until this century when we realized that people actually wanted to do that.
And I will admit that I do not know the following bit, but is there an actual rite to get married. I would still think that it is up to the state to choose what they want to define as a civil union of two individuals, and should be approached on a state by state basis. If you do not like your states current view of it, it is then your job to show them why it is wrong and have the current policy amended for you. As a Gay you are protected under all the same rites that myself as a heterosexual has, and if someone uses the fact that you are gay to hold you back from something, that is no more than them holding me back because I am fat, or any other reason.
Like mommy said, if he doesn't want to play with you, then you are better off because you don't need someone like that in your life anyhow.

Obviously someone needs to get over their assumptions. For one, let me ask you this, is there a gene for it, does that not make it as natural as, say your attraction for a member of the opposite sex? The only thing that needs to be learned here is a persons ability to get out of the dark ages and accept change as a reality.
If you're religion is Christianity, doesn't your bible say that God is the only one that can judge? so why not leave the job to him, and try to stay on the path as you are. You cannot control how people feel and do things, just youre own actions.

What makes me sick is that you have to judge people by what gender they like instead of who they actually are. Yeah, it is against the Bible to practice homosexuality, but it is also against the Bible to judge people and to hate them. If you're going to make a religious arguement, make sure you use all information and look at the other side as well and not just the points that back you up. Who are you to tell someone how to love.? You say, "Learn to love a person of the opposite sex." Before you say that, you should learn how to love in general, the Bible says love your neighbor as you love yourself and love everyone. You also stated, "By definition gay/lesbian couple can't have children without outside help, and therefore procreation and the existence of the human race is impossible in gay/lesbian communities." Yes, they are unable to have their own children but what would you say to men and women that have disabilities, or diseases that prevent them from having children. Should we take away their right to love since they won't be reproducing.? Should we make every single person in the world be with someone for the sole fact that they need to continue the human race.? There are over 6 billion people in the world and population is growing every year, I don't believe reproduction is a problem right now. Also, would you like to define "...do what is right" Bob Marley once said, "I know my life's not perfect, and I don't intend for it to be. But before you start pointing fingers, make sure your hands are clean." One last thing, I believe everyone has a right to speak their opinion and have a voice and be respected, but in a respectful way. Making personal, irrational remarks, and using invalid information loses all your credibility and really offends people. So I'm saying your beliefs are wrong, I'm just saying you should take into consideration other people's feelings, and think before you make unneccesary remarks.

Ignorant much?
I doubt your gay friend would agree with you. And this goes deeper than people liking us.
I will walk down the street and hold hands with my husband, maybe give him a peck of a kiss. Nothing more and nothing less than heterosexual couples do in public every day. Without a voice, we can't fight those who are KILLED for showing affection like this, or for being gay.
Matthew Shepherd anyone?
I want equal rights, and that is all. The "gay" agenda, is to be able to visit my husband in the hospital if he is in a car crash, or seriously hurt. Thanks to DOMA, if my husband and i are in another state, one which does not allow gay marriage, i have absolutely no rights to see him, or speak with him, or speak for him. How would you feel if your heterosexual marriage was not "legal" in 40 some odd states?
And I have no strong religious beliefs. So don't call it marriage! I don't care what you call it, as long as i have the same rights. If the federal government places benefits or laws regarding marriage, then religion has no place in it at all!!!
Anyone remember elementary school? Learning about separation of church and state?

Is a bird not allowed to fly? Is a deer not allowed to run? Is a man not allowed to be as he chooses? To go whichever path he desires? What about the natural rights that every human has, the rights to live his own god damn life the way he chooses, and how no motherfucker has any right to tell him how he should live it. I don't believe in homosexual rights my friend, I believe in human rights, rights we are all entitled to, including who we fuck and who we love. Who are you to say otherwise, who are you to say it's wrong. Isn't it wrong to judge people, to condemn them to hell and use your religion as justification for your words, saying because a dusty book says it's wrong that it must be wrong? What if I said you couldn't love a person of a different race, saying it wasn't natural? What if I used religion to back me up, and turn the whole world against you? Would you cry about it? Not being able to love the girl you do? What if I said that it was unnatural for you to love at all, and that you couldn't love at all? Turned you into a pariah, everyone else around you being happy, except you. But I have religion to back me up, so how can I be wrong if the man with the big hat says that I'm right? You need to stop seeing the world as black and white and open your eyes.

Since when is reproduction the only purpose in existence? Plenty of straight married couples are not capable of having children, does that make them unnatural? Seriously that argument is so ridiculous. There is nothing unnatural about being gay. It happens. I think thats what this guy right here is trying to say.
Also, the whole "unnatural" argument is BS. Almost everything in this world is "unnatural". The clothes you're wearing are probably synthetic, the light bulbs in your house don't give off sunlight, electricity that you use to power the computer you wrote that message on is generated. Do you see how ridiculous that argument is? Almost everything in our lives today in unnatural.
I don't believe in god and I don't believe in sin. I believe that as long as everyone in the world is treated equally, with fairness, integrity, and decency then we'll all be fine. Live for yourself and treat others how you want to be treated. Don't hurt anyone, mentally, physically, spiritually, or in any other way. You can believe in whatever you want, but don't tell someone that they're wrong, or disgusting, or going to suffer for all eternity when their lives have nothing to do with you whatsoever. What someone does with their personal life should not bother you, especially when it doesn't involve you in any shape or form. Just leave people be to live their lives how they want to. Whether it's "unnatural" or not. I'm sure you have some habits that I'd find disgusting, but what you do in your own time is not my concern, and I keep it that way.

"Truth is, gay is a choice" you say?
Ok then, I'll pretend everything I know about myself because, clearly you know me better, is totally incorrect and being gay is something I willingly chose to jump into at some point.
So you say being gay is a choice? Ok, I choose to be gay. How do ya like them apples??
I choose gay. I choose lesbianism. I am happy. I love my life and wouldn't trade it for the world. If someone asked me to choose this, I would say yes before they could finish the question.
If you really must insist that it's a choice despite you not knowing what it means to be gay (or do ya?)- then sure. I choose gay.
What now?
It's done.
I'm an adult.
My life my choice.
It's not like I'm asking you out!

we're not interested.

We're good!

um... i'm trying REALLY hard to follow you here...
i'm just going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you and i aren't in the same country and it's politically progressive for you to call people of color, "coloured people," because in America, calling someone "colored" is throwing it back to the days of slavery here... so anyway, let's just skip that part
now you said "...racism is alive and well in society" so what would be bad about people of color wearing a shirt that said "some people are black, get over it" or something to that effect? likewise with muslim people- if we have an issue with racism, what's the problem with people acting to fight it? I'm honestly asking- you asked "but do you think it would have went down well if coloured people started wearing tops like that ....? "
Yes. I think it would go down well. Because some people are people of color... so yeah...
Please clarify that part.
Also "taking it up the ass ... thats open minded and so is accepting it..." Hahaha, well, that you for putting ONLY ONE STYLE of love making in such a romantic way, ooo you made me blush!! hahaha, ok seriously- some people have anal sex, some (but not all) lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer people do, but so do a lot of hetero couples. also- can you imagine if i went on a thread and was like "OH MY GOD, can you IMAGINE penis IN vagina?! ugh! it's disgusting, that's what it is! but NO! I have to accept it! I have to like it!... gross!!" ... that's what you sound like. FURTHERMORE, having sex isn't all there is to hetero relationships, the same is true for "homosexual" relationships. we do more than have sex.
Lastly, the LAST thing in this whole fucking world I've EVER asked for is for you to like me. I COULDN'T give LESS of a SHIT if you like me. Because honestly, I don't like you. I'm not lookin' for friends here- I have enough. I'm telling you (no not asking, not requesting, not begging) I am telling you I am a human, I am your peer, your neighbor, your coworker, your boss, yes, even a member of your family. You WILL treat me with the same common decency as I treat you with. Our global society WILL value me as it values you. This is not an option, this is not something I'm asking you to agree to. It is truth, it is reality. You disagree? Check back in with me in 20 years. (Here's a hint, you'll sound like an archaic grumpy old git.)

God dam I'm all for gay rights but get the stick out of your ass... no pun intended. Correct me if I'm wrong but how is anyone suppose to know that you are gay just by seeing you sitting in a restaurant with your partner? You say you aren't prancing around, so what are you doing that's making them stare? Are you making out with each other? Well FYI people are gonna stare at you whether you're straight or gay if you're getting naughty in the middle of a restaurant. Furthermore one of my best friends is gay and I love him to death but I still tell him to cut it out when him and his BF start kissing and grabbing each other in front of me. I don't care what they do when they are alone, but regardless of how natural you or the gay community may feel homosexuality is (which I agree it is), it takes people time to adjust to culture shocks like seeing two dudes macking on each other in public at their favorite local restaurant. It takes time for people to adjust to homosexuality because it's really only recently that people have come to accept and start to respect it. If you are going to shove it down peoples throats til they're blue in the face then you're just gonna make people have less respect for you and you're going to look intolerant for not understanding they're preconceived notions/cultural upbringings on homosexuality. People are raised their whole life to believe certain things are right, or natural, by the society they are raised in, and I think it isn't fair for you to just expect them to change their opinion at the snap of your fingers because they won't stop staring at you when you're fondling each other in a public place you are expected to share. Understand that some people aren't going to be ok with two guys (or girls, ... well unless they're hot ... jk) making out in public. On behalf of my gay friends, I think it's people like you who give the gay community a bad name and make it seem like their is a "gay agenda" (as Bill O'Reilly might call it) bent on taking down the "heterosexual agenda" as you appear to call it in your post. Do me a favor and stop giving all these homophobes something to bitch about, cuz you're adding fuel to their fire.

Yeah, some people are gay. They need to get over their unnatural sexual desires and do what is right. Learn to love a person of the opposite sex.
gay is not a choice. do some
gay is not a choice. do some research and stop being close-minded.
"Truth is, gay is a choice"
Because honestly,
we're not interested.
Every one of us.
We're good!
So don't worry about it.
Don't cry yourself to sleep at night in "fear" that we'll hit on you.
Really.
We're all set.
We "chose" each other, after all.
The End.
um... i'm trying REALLY hard
um... i'm trying REALLY hard to follow you here...
i'm just going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you and i aren't in the same country and it's politically progressive for you to call people of color, "coloured people," because in America, calling someone "colored" is throwing it back to the days of slavery here... so anyway, let's just skip that part
now you said "...racism is alive and well in society" so what would be bad about people of color wearing a shirt that said "some people are black, get over it" or something to that effect? likewise with muslim people- if we have an issue with racism, what's the problem with people acting to fight it?
OK - NOT a CHOICE. Get

Truth hurts.... you're an idiot. Homosexuality is far from a choice, however being a bigoted douche like yourself is a choice.
God dam I'm all for gay
